The Story Behind From Weathering Storms, Comes a Blossom with Thorns
From Weathering Storms, Comes a Blossom with Thorns.
The title is the poem.
The weathered brass vase carries the evidence of time. I polished it, not to erase where it had been, but to reveal the beauty that remained.
From it rises a rose formed from discarded sheet metal, shaped by fire and transformed into something new.
And it still has thorns.
Because the storms we weather become part of us. They may change us, strengthen us, and leave their marks upon us, but they do not have to prevent us from blossoming.
With intention and creativity, we can polish what's been weathered and step boldly, shining, into the future.
