Inspired by The Abduction of Persephone, Wings for the Lost Daughter captures a lesser-known moment in Greek mythology, when the goddess Demeter grants the Sirens wings to search the earth and sea for her missing daughter.
Perched between ocean and sky, this siren embodies the tension between loss and persistence. Her wings extend outward in quiet determination, while the harp at her core reflects the silent call carried across distance and time.
Forged from discarded metal, this sculpture transforms industrial remnants into a narrative of resilience, devotion, and myth reborn. Each component, once part of a machine, now serves a greater purpose: to tell a story that has endured for centuries.
This is a one-of-one piece, created entirely by hand, with no molds or replication.
